Scenes From the Cliff is a dark comedy done right. There are no cheap storytelling devices, no shortcuts, no fillers, and no chasers here. In an era where quality original screenplays are hard to come by, this is one to have.
The characters are all on the edge of figurative cliffs and Nina Childs is all too happy to push them all off into a series of crises in a world where everyone speaks their mind and no one minds their speech. This is easily one of the best screenplays I've ever read. Loved it so much that I ended up buying the DVD from the live performance.
